Sea days on the way to Lisbon

After we left Fort Lauderdale, we will have 8 sea days on or way to Lisbon. I really enjoy the sea days but I wish they were at the end of the cruise and not at the beginning. The last part of the cruise will be VERY port intensive and we will be exhausted by the time we get home......I will really need a vacation when I get home!

I have been able to play some Mah Jongg but no one wants to play for money....BORING!


There have been some pretty interesting lectures. One series is about the White House presented by a woman, Melinda Bates, who ran the White House Visitors Office for the full 8 years of the Clinton administration. Unfortunately, I missed most of her lectures as they conflicted with Mah Jongg.
Another series is about Broadway composers in the early days. The couple that are doing the series are excellent! He plays the piano and she tells stories and sings. They are probably my age but they are great!

We have had a few lousy days...windy, cold, rainy but hopefully the weather will be better when we get to Lisbon.
