Boarding the Constellation

Wednesday, April 24th

This morning we met Linda and Jim Smith for breakfast.


We will all take the shuttle over to the cruise port at 10AM. We have 2 bottles of wine in each of our carry ons. Will be interested to see if it all gets thru. It would probably be easier to get drugs on the ship than wine!

No problem with the wine!! On board and in our cabin by 1:30PM. This will be our home for the next 28 days.

Wednesday, April 23rd

Jane and Mike took us to the airport. Thank you Jane and Mike.......Check in went well...one bag was 51lbs but Delta desk person let it go.

Problem arose with TSA.....apparently, my cork screw had a 1inch knife blade!. It was my favorite cork screw! I no longer have it!



Breakfast at Starbucks. Notice my cup which I will try not to loose!

Uneventful flights. Quick pick up to hotel.....everything is going too smooth, except for my cork screw!

Over to Total Wine and Publics. Dinner at Duffy's. Good food very slow service. Back to the hotel early to bed!

Final Preparations

Monday, April 21st

This has been a very busy week! My brother, Tim, and his wife are building a house up here and they have been here he past week. They don't stay with us but I have been running around with them all week! It's been a lot of fun and their house is looking good.

Most of the packing is done. Two big suitcases just under 50 lbs. Don't know what I will do if I buy anything. Guess Charlie will load the ScotteVest. Jane is coming over tomorrow night to load the car for an early start on Wednesday.
